Well, there you have it — Ubisoft Ivory Tower has, at long last, thrown away the veil to reveal its latest open world racing game, The Crew Motorfest. Safe to say that, with the amount of content its first season has provided thus far, fans of the franchise will have plenty to tuck into over the next several months. Speaking of which, the latest episode in the series has churned out a new type of catalog—Playlists, as such, in which players are invited to compete over a series of events across asphalt, sand, and sky.
At the time of writing, there are only the 15 Playlists to choose from, all of which have their own unique courses, rewards, and other distinctive features. However, if you’re looking to delve into the best of the best and reap all the benefits from doing so, then be sure to read on for all the details. Here are the five best Playlists in The Crew Motorfest in 2023.
5. Hawaii Scenic Tour
The Hawaii Scenic Tour is not only one of the best series to compete in in order to get accustomed to the locale, but also accrue a generous amount of cash and XP, too. It’s also a relatively easy Playlist to take on, as each of the five courses provide a fairly large amount of perks just for crossing the finish line. And to be fair, if you’re aiming to earn as much cash in the shortest amount of time possible, then it’s a definite win-win situation, and something you should nail down as your first port of call in each new sitting.
In addition to the luscious landscapes and picturesque views that the Hawaii Scenic Tour has to offer, the series also rewards its players with a quality selection of cars, boats, and planes, which you will need to tackle future Playlists over O’ahu. So, before tackling anything at all in The Crew Motorfest, aim to sweep the Hawaii Scenic Tour squeaky clean of all its shiny perks.
- Wonders of Ko’olau Poko
- Giant Of Ma’ili’s
- Wild Heart of Ko’olau Loa
- Explorers of Moana
- Kingdom of Lani
4. Liberty Walk
The Liberty Walk Playlist only has the two courses: Elite Nation, and Liberty Territory—the latter being the lengthiest track in the entire game. As such, budding racers can expect to traverse O’ahu in its entirety—a feat that also happens to reward its competitors with a hefty bag of cash and XP boost on completion. For this reason alone, we can’t help but slot the Liberty Walk Playlist near the apex of best overall Playlists in The Crew Motorfest.
Of course, you will need to have already completed the Made In Japan Playlist before starting the Liberty Walk Playlist. Once unlocked, aim to compete in it as often as possible, as it is, in all honesty, the best way to earn money in The Crew Motorfest by a mile.
- Elite Nation
- Liberty Territory
3. Bike Lovers
If you’ve exhausted all of your options and are looking to dabble in the motorcycle circuit, then the absolute best option would be to enter the Bike Lovers Playlist, a three-piece series that sees you take to the track on GP classics against high speeds and even higher stakes. If successful, you’ll wind up walking away with somewhere between $60,000 and $80,000, depending on the position you finish in.
Anyway, the bottom line is, the Bike Lovers Playlist is a fantastic series to enroll in, more so for those with an undying love for the sport and anything with two wheels. Is it challenging? Yes. Is it worth the trouble? A hundred times, yes.
- GP Glory
- Roadie Rumble
- Hectic Hanauma
2. Dream Cars
Dream Cars isn’t the lengthiest Playlist on the docket, but it does happen to boast two of the fastest cars in the entire game: the Mercedes Vision EQ, and the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio 2017. And that’s only scratching the surface, too, as the series itself actually presents a myriad of superior super cars to compete in, giving you an in-depth look at some of the most advanced vehicles in the history of motor sports.
Of course, with faster cars comes tricker courses, which means you’ll need to brush up on your core skills before taking on the big leagues. However, if you can bring yourself up to speed, so to speak, then you’ll eventually come to pocket thousands in cash, and not to mention a hefty amount of XP for your gradual ascension to the apex of stardom.
It goes without saying that, in order to get a true feel for The Crew Motorfest and the new features that it bears, you’re going to want to glue yourself to the classic Motorsports Playlist. Cinematically, it’s arguably one of the best, and a natural choice for those wanting to progress through the campaign and experience all of the best highlights without straying too far from the main route.
In addition to the Playlist being one of the most aesthetically appealing, Motorsports also offers out plenty of fantastic perks, including but not limited to the high-paying events and double XP bonuses. And sure, it can, technically, take a bit of time to sift through from beginning to end, but it’s a route that every newcomer should take before soaking up everything else The Crew Motorfest has to offer.
- Grand Touring
- Acura Derby
- 24H of Hanauma
- Alpha Grand Finale
